Wow, the guy who came in last in the primary for the 11th Congressional District has set a new record—$8.8 million—for money spent in a San Francisco election. Xueer Lu reports that Saikat Chakrabarti‘s campaign spent a whopping $211 per vote, and breaks down where it all went.
Police chief Derrick Lew revealed that data from the city’s extensive network of Flock surveillance cameras was illegally searched by a variety of Federal agencies, though he claimed ICE and DHS did not directly access the data.
