Marina Newman reports that Tetra Tech, a Navy contractor at the Hunters Point Shipyard, will pay a $57 million settlement over charges it faked radiation data at the site. Nearly $12 million will go to Tetra Tech whistleblowers who alleged the company told them to replace potentially contaminated samples with “clean” soil.
