Jon Lee
Known for his dynamic and expressive playing, pianist Jon Lee seeks to uncover emotional and historical connections that resonate with modern audiences. A prizewinner at the Cliburn International Amateur and San Diego International Piano Competitions, Jon has performed with the Fort Worth Symphony, Boston Pops Orchestra, and Utah Symphony, and collaborated in chamber settings with Kim Kashkashian, the Telegraph Quartet, Jonathan Vinocour, and Nicholas Phan.
Beyond performance, Jon developed MusicPodium, an iPad app for digital score reading, and serves as Director of Festival Planning for the Hawaiʻi Chamber Music Festival and Digital Operations Director for the Amalfi Coast Music & Arts Festival. Originally from Wisconsin and raised in Utah, he is pursuing an Artist Diploma at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Yoshikazu Nagai, and holds a Master’s degree from MIT.
Ed Baskerville
Ed Baskerville is a San Francisco-based cellist with two decades of experience sight-reading chamber music in bars and cafes. He has played with groups including Classical Revolution, the Neighborhood Performance Project, Rupa and the April Fishes, the Siphr Project, and the Unsound Orchestra, which improvises scores to 1920s German horror films. He previously organized Classical Revolution Ann Arbor, which once hosted a snowed-in Cleveland Orchestra for a chamber jam at a pizza joint.
