CMC: Songs of Our Forbears: Nicole Takesono, voice and Sharon Wayne, guitar

Mezzo-soprano Nicole Takesono and guitarist Sharon Wayne (CMC guitar faculty) present a collection of songs drawn from their varied ancestries. The program includes selections from the French Huguenot Era, songs in Yiddish and Hebrew, Japanese songs from the old country and Hawaii, as well as contemporary Hawaiian melodies.
