18 Reasons: Flavors of Korea: Chimaek and Late Night Bites

Price:
$185.00
Member Price:
$175.00
A hands-on in-person cooking class culminating in a dinner served with wine and beer. This class is limited to 12 students. Review our registration and cancellation policies here.
Chimaek represents, arguably, the best end-of-week food and drink: fried chicken and a crisp beer. Chimaek (치맥) is already Korean slang for the two words, Chikin (치킨: chicken) and Maekju (맥주: beer) so the word itself even highlights the perfect marriage between the two.
Get ready to turn up the heat and end your week with a cold beer in hand, washing down the crispy bites of our Korean style fried chicken wings. Elise will also guide you through cooking even more spicy and flavorful dishes to complete your late night table. We’ll cook chewy and spicy rice cakes, rich and flavorful stir-fried kimchi with tofu, and melty corn cheese. This menu would not be complete without some sweet and tangy radish pickles, whose crunch will joyfully cleanse your palate as we eat and drink the night away.
