The strange and terrible meltdown of the S.F. Giants

Good afternoon!

Well, in other news, the big Pride weekend is over, and our reporters covered it all live, from swagged-out corgis on parade, to Scott Wiener getting chased out of Dolores Park, to lesbian pole-dancing, raves, drag, Mexican pride flags, and protest.

Also, a noticeable police response. On Friday night, Annelise Bowers was there when police rushed into the crowd at the end of the Trans March and arrested 5 people. The SFPD said it had observed some protesters spray-painting graffiti, and that others “obstructed the officers in an attempt to free the vandalism suspects.”

Annelise and Joe Rivano Barros report on the next night’s SoMa street party, where SFPD officers showed up in tactical gear and arrested 20 people. See bystander footage from the scene.
