Clarion Alley Mural Project: Graffiti Camp for Girls + Lady Pink on Clarion Alley

Clarion Alley Mural Project (CAMP) and Graffiti Camp for Girls are proud to welcome Lady Pink, one of the most influential figures in graffiti history, to San Francisco for a week of mentorship, mural-making, and youth arts education culminating in a public mural unveiling and community celebration on June 19, 2026.
From June 13–19, Lady Pink will work directly with local youth participating in Graffiti Camp for Girls to create a new mural on Clarion Alley. The completed mural will be unveiled during a public celebration on June 19, marking Lady Pink’s first mural on Clarion Alley. The project creates a unique opportunity for young artists to learn from and collaborate with an artist whose work has helped shape the history of graffiti and public art.
Born in Ecuador and raised in New York City, Lady Pink emerged from the early graffiti movement and gained international recognition through her role in the landmark film Wild Style. Her work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Museum of Modern Art.
Most recently, Lady Pink received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Mural Awards, recognizing her contributions to graffiti and public art over more than four decades and her role in helping elevate the art form from New York City subway cars to internationally recognized museums and cultural institutions.
The June 19 celebration will include the public unveiling of the completed mural, a meet and greet with Lady Pink and a community gathering open to the public.
