Following last week’s arrest of an immigrant by plainclothes ICE agents at SFO, Eleni Balakrishnan reports that supervisors Bilal Mahmood and Chyanne Chen want to introduce a law directing SFPD officers to get identification from any plainclothes or masked federal agents.

In early March, a cyclist was hit and dragged by a dump truck in the Sunset at Seventh and Irving. Junyao Yang found city attempts to make Seventh Avenue safer for pedestrians and cyclists going back decadesโ€”but little action. Read about what might happen now.
