Help keep muralismo alive at ¡Viva Muralismo! 2010 Gala Benefit and Art Auction, presented this Saturday by Precita Eyes Muralists. It promises to be an evening of art, food and music by the Gaucho Gypsy Band. Guests can also bid on original artwork created by featured muralists, including Laura Campos and Brooke Fancher.

The gala takes place at the SOMArts Cultural Center, 934 Brannan Street, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 25. Tickets are $30 in advance for general admission, $35 at the door. For $50, guests can also attend a VIP reception and meet the artists before the gala.
