Dr. Eleanor Chung, who works at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and the University of California, San Francisco, is asking for help in locating one of the clinic’s 14-year-old patients, Maryeli Rivera, who has been missing since July 28.

She was last seen near Potrero and 16th streets. Chung reports that Rivera is about 5-feet-2-inches tall and 135 pounds. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Academic Middle School in May, and is a freshman at Wallenberg High School, but has not yet attended.

Dr. Chung wrote in an email that she is asking for help with the permission of a parent.

If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact the San Francisco Police Department at 415-553-1145.

This is a developing story.
