Mambo in the Mission begins Saturday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at D’Maize (formerly Casa Sanchez). The evening will include music, performance, poetry and an art auction of works by local artists!
There is a $5 suggested donation which will benefit the Flor y Canto Literary Festival.
I grew up in the Mission, went to School of the Arts high school for creative writing. Bounced around colleges from SFState, to CCSF, to CCA where I graduated with a degree in photography.
