At about 9:15 last night near 15th and Shotwell streets, a 38-year-old man was stabbed by another man. The victim reported that a suspect came up from behind him and stabbed him in the shoulder with a knife, then fled the scene without taking anything from the victim. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with puncture wounds in his shoulder; his injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

There was also a break-in reported on Fair Oaks street between 23rd and 24th Streets. Sometime between 5:15 and 5:25 this morning, a 67-year-old woman heard noise in her home and saw a person she could not identify open the front door of her unit. The robber was able to steal some clothing, shoes, and a garage door opener before the victim yelled at the suspect and he or she fled the scene.

No arrests were made in either of these cases.
