Despite the loss, fans showed their colors.

Who’s Got it Better Than Us? The Seattle Sehawks got the best of the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday as they defeated the five-time champions 23-17 to advance to the Super Bowl.

The streets were quiet on Sunday as fans exited the bars after the loss. It was a sharp contrast from last year when fans took to the streets when the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl.

It was in the spirit of appreciating what you got, that the San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Hardbaugh introduced the slogan, “Who’s got it better than us?” Faithful fans can at least go home knowing that their team still has five championships.

  1. Given the fifth was 20 years ago, it ain’t much solice. Even for those of us who were here then. Of course that team, with an outstanding defense AND offense would have crushed Seattle.

  2. And only one thing was burned (as far as I know)- a Christmas tree on 22nd Street.
Don’t love the crazed fandom during the football season at all.
