Mission business owner Adriana Almazan Lahl has released a new cookbook: “Celebraciones Mexicanas: History, Traditions, and Recipes.” Lahl is the owner of Sal de Vida Gourmet, a catering business headquartered on Folsom Street. She collaborated with Andrea Lawson Gray, who is the owner of another San Francisco catering company known as Tres Senioritas Gourmet.

The book is meant to celebrate traditional Mexican food and culture through recipes and stories.

Andra Cernavskis is a student at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. She is Canadian by birth but grew up in New Jersey and then San Francisco's Miraloma neighborhood.
