In BART news, although trains are running, the San Francisco Chronicle reports that there’s “ little to suggest that BART and its two largest unions will be any closer to an agreement in 30 days.” The current contract has been extended until Aug. 4.
“The parties remain far apart on the money issues,” said Alicia Trost, a BART spokeswoman in a SF Chronicle article.
