Monday
Police reported that at 7:05 p.m. a male suspect approached a man from behind on a Muni bus and stole his phone. The suspect then left the bus and fled the scene on foot. No arrests were made.
Wednesday
At 9:40 p.m. two male suspects approached a woman near South Van Ness and 24th Street and grabbed her purse, police reported. One of the suspects pushed her to the ground and then sprayed her with a caustic chemical. The suspects fled the scene on foot. The victim suffered redness to the face but declined medical treatment.
No arrests were made.
You don’t need descriptions, just assume every male in the Mission is armed and looking to mug you.

I dream of the day that we no longer hear of these senseless acts of male violence.
