Police arrested three suspects in the robbery of a man last night on 26th Street.
Police responded to the scene on the 3100 block of 26th Street at 11:45 Monday night. The 27-year-old victim had been walking when three suspects, also in their mid-20s, brandished a knife and demanded his property.
The suspects ran off on foot with the victim’s messenger bag, cellphone, wallet and a tablet computer, according to police. Officers later located the suspects’ vehicle and arrested them.

Hurray! This is great news! It has been depressing to read about all the muggings and thefts recently — we need many more cases like this where the lowlife are apprehended and locked up. It sure would be nice if the scum didn’t think they could get away with it so easily.
Let’s just hope they serve some time, rather than just get sent home with a slap on the wrist.
Don’t they commit these crimes because they KNOW they can get away with it so easily?
