Two men armed with handguns broke into a home on the 1400 block of York Street between 26th and 27th at 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, police reported. The men ordered the seven occupants to the floor while they ransacked the house.

The victims were four women, ages 19, 31, 34 and 51; an 18-month-old toddler; and two men, ages 39 and 41.

The suspects fled with phones and other items, according to the police report. The victims were not injured.

It’s not clear if the victims knew the suspects. We are following up and will add details as they become available.

Later on Wednesday, a male suspect approached a 29-year-old man on Mission Street near 30th at 10:31 p.m. and demanded money, police reported. The suspect punched the victim in the face; the victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled.

It was only after the victim got to his feet that he realized he had been stabbed, police reported. He was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

  2. 26th and Cesar Chavez? York doesn’t cross 27th…
(Also, Old Mission Neighbor must be really old and quite senile since York is nowhere near Dolores Park).
