Police have arrested a 23-year-old suspect in the robbery of a man on Mission Street Monday night.

The 22-year-old victim was standing on Mission Street near 20th at around 9 p.m. when the suspect snatched his baseball cap from his head. When the victim demanded it back, the suspect brandished a knife and made a gang reference, according to a police report.

Hours later, the victim saw the suspect observing a “cold show” (where a witness tries to identify a suspect) that police were conducting in an unrelated case, and identified him to officers, who arrested him at the scene.
