It’s 7:15 a.m., 56° and headed to 72°. Details are here.

A lot of things are happening in the neighborhood this holiday weekend.

Chef Manuel Godino officially opened Venga Empanadas on Friday, so if you’re looking for a quick and delicious breakfast, stop by his new storefront at 443 Valencia Street and get a cup of coffee and a breakfast empanada to go.

Starting at noon, you can head to the Mission Cultural Center for a community celebration for Chata Gutierrez, a salsa DJ. She will broadcast her award-winning show Con Clave LIVE! Click here for more information.

Then take in the San Francisco Mime Troupe’s premiere of The Musical in Dolores Park, starting at 2 p.m.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine and holiday weekend!
