On Saturday, eight galleries in the Mission’s southeast corner hosted performances and special events. It was the first Lunar Mission, an event that aims to go beyond an art crawl or open studios night to showcase one-night-only programming. Among the highlights this time around were performance art at Steven Wolf Fine Arts, artist-made drinks at Southern Exposure, a raucous band at Guerrero Gallery, and projections at Triple Base and Eleanor Harwood galleries. Look for another Lunar Mission in the coming months.
