Meet the eclectic neighbors including the Fybroid family, Cystina the squatter, and the twins Ova and Reese, in this playful exploration of identity, humor, and community.

Beatrice L. Thomas, also known as Black Benatar, is a multidisciplinary artist, performer, and storyteller blending drag, puppetry, and stage illusion. Through humor, magic, and heartfelt narratives, their work explores themes of identity, community, and queer motherhood. As the creator of Black Benatar’s Black Magic Cabaret, Thomas uses performance as a transformative tool to foster connection and joy. Their playful, thought-provoking artistry invites audiences into whimsical worlds where imagination and social commentary intersect.
