In the process of tearing down the Mission and 22nd street building that has seen two additional fires since the one that killed one, displaced more than 60, and rendered the building uninhabitable in January 2015.

In February 2016, the Department of Building Inspection ordered an emergency alteration of the building, requiring that it be demolished to street level and the basement be shored up for safety.
