Police responded to a shooting at 26th Street and Treat Avenue at 7:17 p.m. on Tuesday and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back. The victim, a 21-year-old male, told police that he had heard shots and felt something hit his lower back side, stating that he did not see who shot him. The man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and is in stable condition — no arrests have been made.

Three shootings have occurred this week, the first a homicide and the second a shooting that occurred at the site of a memorial for that homicide that reportedly left no injuries.
