Today’s block: 14th to 15th Streets between Folsom and Shotwell, the FoodsCo block.
As I got off my bike I briefly lamented not taking the next block over, from 14th to 13th, because it is a cornucopia of wall art. But as it turns out, there’s no shortage of camera-worthy items on this block either, including an enormous mural on the Shotwell wall of FoodsCo that I actually didn’t manage to do much justice with my amateur photography skills. A gray, overcast morning and plenty of interesting geometry made this block fun for color comparisons, but of course there were other treasures to document as well.
