Walking by the fire scene on Mission Street last night, I noticed dozens of firefighters still working on the scene, wetting down the inside of the building that had created a five-alarm fire, talking and looking relieved to see it over without any major injuries.  

It looked as if the computer store just south of the Big House discount store at 2632 Mission Street had some damage, while the discount store north of it was largely spared. We will have more on the damage to nearby buildings later this morning.
