A 41-year-old man was robbed of his laptop at 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue Wednesday morning.

Police records show that a suspect approached the victim, who was using his laptop on the street, knocked him to the ground and took his laptop. The suspect fled in a Black two-door sedan. A description of the suspect isn’t available.

The incident happened at 7:16 a.m. Wednesday.


After reporting her car stolen, the victim’s husband spotted the car on 18th and San Carlos streets. He approached the car and demanded that the driver give the car back. The suspect said he bought the car, brandished a gun and fled in the stolen vehicle, according to police.

The incident happened at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. The car is described as a Black Nissan sedan. No description of the suspect is available.

  1. Especially on that corner. Cops should have a sting operation there. Lots of shady people always loitering in front of the Mission Hotel.
