Police reported that at 9:50 a.m. a man was attacked by three male suspects near Mission and 16th streets. The victim refused assistance from law enforcement. About an hour later, the same suspects attacked the victim again, hitting him with an A-frame PG&E barricade. In both incidents, the suspects had left the area by the time police arrived.

The second attack left a laceration on the victim’s arm that was not life-threatening. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. No arrests were made.

Police reported that at 12:45 a.m., three women walking to their car were attacked and robbed at gunpoint by two men near Mission and 14th streets. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victims’ property, and one suspect punched the first victim in the face and the third in the neck. The third victim fled the area on foot.

The suspects took the second victim’s purse and then fled the area on foot. The victims were treated for their injuries at the scene. A cellphone, money and a purse were stolen in the incident.

No arrests were made.

  1. Any idea what happened in front of The Armory Club early Saturday evening? I saw a guy laid out on the sidewalk right in front of the bar, on a stretcher but he wasn’t moving. Police and paramedics everywhere, and everyone at Public Works had come out to see.
