San Francisco Classical Voice spent some time with the children’s chorus of the Mission Community Center. The children are rehearsing for their upcoming performance at the center’s spring gala on Monday, May 13. The SFCV interviewed some of the chorus members.
The Examiner reports that BART is considering changing its policy to do away with the current blackout periods for bikes. Bikes would be allowed on trains at all times but would still be banned from the first three trains. The board of directors will vote on the new policy May 23.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, you can check out the Fair Oaks Street Fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This will be the fair’s 37th year of hosting garage sales and barbecues. It takes place from 21st to 26th Streets between Guerrero and Dolores.
