Friday marked the start of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, during which dozens of musicians take the stage with their Fender, Gibson and Martin guitars. Here in the Mission, Blackbird Guitars creates new versions of classic instruments by using carbon fiber to craft its guitars and ukuleles.

Check out the video to see founder Joseph Luttwak and his team of luthiers (aka guitar-makers) in action.
