A 27-year-old man was stabbed with an unknown object near 15th Street and South Van Ness Avenue at 11:15 p.m. Monday, police said.

The suspect, a man of unknown age, started talking to the victim while waving his arms around, then ran away.

After the incident the victim noticed a cut on his hand and went to a local hospital.

No arrests have been made.


A 31-year-old woman was robbed of her cell phone around 6:15 p.m. Monday near Bryant and 16th streets, police said.

The suspect, described as a woman between the ages of 18 and 20, approached the victim from behind, pushed her to the ground, grabbed her cell phone from her pocket and ran away.

The suspect was arrested near the scene of the crime.
