A 34-year-old woman was robbed at 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday at 13th and Harrison streets.

The victim walked to her car with her belongings wrapped in her uniform and unlocked the car remotely. When she got into the car, a 25-year-old man confronted her and grabbed her purse.

The suspect then punched the victim and fled on foot, heading south on Florida Street. He got away with some cash, the victim’s cell phone charger and her karate uniform, according to police records.

A 26-year-old man was arrested early Thursday in connection with a stabbing at 16th and Mission streets at 2:15 a.m.

The suspect struck the victim, a 31-year-old man, in the back of the head with an unknown object, then stabbed him in the torso. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital.
