Omar Gonzales is originally from Fresno, California, where he worked in construction for several years, and where he started drawing on paper and Moleskines.

He moved to the city after deciding to switch career paths and pursue more creative work. He’s been drawing every day since then, and had his first solo art exhibit at Nooworks this past June. His drawings are full of colors, old-looking men, mysterious eyes and mandalas.

His art will hang on the walls at Nooworks until August. T-shirts and pillows featuring his work will also be on sale.
