After finding inconsistencies in the vote tallies, Mexican election officials said they were recounting more than half the ballot boxes used in the presidential election. The recount could be finished today.
Yesterday the Chronicle wrote that City College is on the brink of closure — it has eight months to prove it should stay open. This comes after the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges found that the school suffered from “leadership weaknesses at all levels,” had failed to react to ongoing reduced funding and spent all but 8 percent of its budget on salaries and benefits. City College has one campus in the Mission.
