La Rondalla, a popular family-owned restaurant that closed in 2007, will reopen a little later than expected.

In September, Luna and Betty Barrios, the daughters of owner Carlos Barrios, told Mission Loc@l the restaurant would be open by early December. Now Luna Barrios says that renovations are taking longer than expected, so they’ve had to delay the reopening. She’s hoping they’ll be open by late January 2012.
