  1. Thank you, Gregory Woods. An excellent short explanation of the process. I particularly liked the Elections official’s point that, although ranked choice complicates – or at least changes – things for candidates, consultants, and the Department of Elections in rather complicated and nuanced ways, it’s really quite simple for voters. It is. And yes, you don’t HAVE to vote for three, any more than you have to vote at all, but leaving a choice blanks means you potentially will have less to say as a voter.
