Two teenage boys robbed a 16-year-old on Friday evening, according to police. The victim was at 23rd and Hampshire streets around 5:40 p.m. when the two suspects approached from behind. One suspect struck the victim, while the other kicked him in the leg and stole his cellphone. The suspects, described as 18-year-old males, then fled the scene.
Saturday
Another cellphone was taken on Saturday. A 35-year-old woman was on 24th and Capp streets at 2:50 p.m. when she was approached from behind and pushed to the sidewalk. The suspect, a male in his late teens, snatched her purse and fled on foot. The purse contained cash and a cellphone. Eight cellphones have been reported stolen in the Mission this month.
Sunday
A 57-year-old man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital on Sunday after he was stabbed at 24th and Osage. The victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds to his lower abdomen but refused to give any details about the suspect or the stabbing.
Monday
Two suspects robbed and assaulted a 30-year-old man early this morning. The victim was on Mission Street near 14th around 3:40 a.m. when he was approached by two men in their early 20s. One suspect tore a bracelet off the victim’s wrist. Another suspect then used a metal pipe to hit the victim on the head several times. The suspects stole the victim’s cash and fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
