It was a little after midnight — 12:05 a.m. A 20-year-old man in Dolores Park was approached by three men in their early 20s. They pushed him to the ground, punched him and took his cell phone, then fled on foot. The victim suffered a swollen lip.

At 1:45 a.m., three men surrounded a 30-year-old man at Sanchez and 17th streets. They demanded his property, and the victim handed over his cash. The suspects, described by the victim as men in their 20s, fled the scene in a white SUV.

Around 2:35 a.m., a 30-year-old man walking down South Van Ness Avenue near 24th Street found himself pushed against a wall. His attackers? Three men. One searched his pockets, taking cash and a cell phone, then all three fled on foot.

Keep an eye out, Mission residents. It’s looking like bad things are coming in threes this weekend.
