Two men robbed a 22-year-old man on Monday afternoon at Folsom and 26th streets, according to police.

The victim was walking at around 1 p.m. when the two suspects began following him. One suspect pushed the victim to the ground and took his shoulder bag, which contained his wallet and cell phone. Both suspects, described as men between the ages of 18 and 21, fled on foot.

  2. The neighborhood has always been every rough. In 1976, I once saw a young black man try to carjack a middle-aged white woman at 1 in the afternoon by 25th and Lucky. I guess she was lucky that I ran toward them yelling, “Stop!” There is a lot of racial animosity in that neighborhood. It is not a good place to live.
