A little dour, this caption.

Last week I posted some photos that I took this summer of the wall outside Bruce Tomb’s house. This week I’m posting some photos I took just after the rains ended. The cold, wet weather had sloughed off so many layers in some areas that I was seeing glimpses of artwork I hadn’t seen in years.

This is an old one — part of a series by Josh McPhee that has since been turned into a book.
The layers of peeled-away poster are very interesting. Checking it out before the pasters of springtime appear is highly recommended.
These little thumbprint mice are new. I saw a few outside Dog Eared Books on Valencia a few weeks ago, but I think now the rains have taken them away.
