San Francisco’s skyline had a spirited glow tonight as the Giants won their first World Series since 1954.
Many SF skyscrapers stood tall, crowned with orange. The Transamerica Pyramid peaked with a radiant orb and Coit Tower stood bathed in orange light. To the south, the lights of AT&T Park shone brightly across the Bay, and the occasional fireworks spread above the city.
An admitted technophile, Jessica Lum navigates the Mission with Google Maps, but has only really come to know the neighborhood by wandering on foot, looking at murals, and occasionally watching the guy on the BART steps play “Stairway to Heaven.”
