According to a press release sent out by the SFPD:

“The San Francisco Police Department in conjunction with the Daly City Police Department has arrested the female suspect wanted in a bank robbery series that took place in July 2010. The bank robbery suspect was arrested on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at her workplace located in the city of Martinez.

She is believed to be responsible for two armed bank robberies in San Francisco. One incident occurred on July 12 at the Bank of America located on the 3700 block of Balboa St. The second incident occurred on July 16 at the Bank of America located on the 5200 block of Diamond Heights Blvd. In both cases, she approached the teller and brandished a black semi-auto handgun and demanded money. She fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in both robberies.

S.F.P.D. Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) officers made the arrest along with Daly City Police. An anonymous tipster who had phoned the S.F.P.D. tip-line gave our officers information that helped identify her. Currently, she remains in San Mateo County Jail where she was booked for a bank robbery that occurred in July in Daly City. S.F.P.D. will process her once she is extradited.”

Notorious for her fashionable bank-robbing attire, she captivated news agencies used to less stylish criminals.
