Housing – Cheap and Not-so-cheap
The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most expensive places to live in the country, according to a study by the Urban Land Institute. Not only the next hot condo on Valencia but even homes in Napa County are above their national counterparts, reports the Business Times.

Meanwhile, there’s at least one cheap room in the Mission District, right above Zeitgeist. Caveat rentor.

Like Mixtapes, but Tastier
Bi-Rite spinoff and meat-based foodie headquarters 18 Reasons is having having a cookbook swap on Thursday. You know you want cookbooks from the folks who bring you events on lamb butchery and “The Butcher vs. The Vegan.” Yes!
