Now this is something to get excited about. Burrito Justice (via Love Letters to San Francisco) is pondering a March Madness Taco Playoff. There are plenty of taquerias in the Mission to participate, but can any of them really beat Tonayense? Here’s an idea, what about starting a pool and allowing people to submit brackets? Mission March Madness 2009!

What about an LA-SF taco truck showdown? The trucks can meet on neutral ground, say, Fresno?

Beer & Nosh has released more details of its highly anticipated joint night with Mission Street Food, set for Saturday, March 21st. And it looks amazing. The bold braised brisket and grilled blue cheese look especially good.

Mission Mission has the run-down on Maria Forde, a local artist who is debuting her work at Needles & Pens tonight.

While there’s no Mission Street Food this weekend (harnessing their awesomeness for next week, probably) there is a parade you should attend. Everyone act Irish!

OK, ok, we’ll jump on the rumor bandwagon. Is Craig Newmark going to buy the Chronicle?

Have a good weekend, everyone.
