San Francisco police released a sketch of the suspect in the fatal shooting of Lorenzo Jimenez on 16th and Guerrero streets on June 8. Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

Jimenez, 24, was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound at 11:35 p.m. on June 8. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and died from his injuries the next day.

Jimenez had been spending time with friends in a bar that night when five to 10 men confronted him, police said. After Jimenez left the bar, the men beat him and one of the attackers shot him.

Police were able to put together a sketch of the shooting suspect. He is described as a man in his 20s, between 5’6″ and 5’9″. His hair was pulled back in bun, and he fled the scene of the crime wearing a blue Golden State Warriors jacket, police said.
