The family of Reynaldo Cordova, the 26-year-old man who was shot Oct. 28 at 23rd and Harrison streets, is asking the community to provide information about the crime.
A flyer has been posted around the neighborhood stating that the victim “got into a verbal argument with a suspect who then fired four or five shots, striking Cordova in the back.
“The suspect, believed to be a male between 16 and 18 years old, fled in a green car — model Subaru Outback, police said,” the flyer continues. Cordova was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is the fifth homicide in the Mission this year. The last occurred Sept. 5, when Dwayne Spruell was shot and killed.

Suspect description: “male between 16 and 18 years old” — is that really all the info the police have? Oh wait, other media outlets are reporting more information that Mission Local seems to have censored: “three Hispanic males — the shooter was described as being between 16 and 18 years old”
