Attorneys in San Francisco asked a judge to stop ICE‘s nationwide practice of keeping immigrants up to three days in holding cells awaiting transfer to detention centers. The class-action suit alleges that people have been kept in rooms at 630 Sansome St. without beds, bedding, adequate heat, or access to medications.
