It’s Day 4 of the teachers strike, and we’ll be posting live updates all day. Wages, healthcare, and special education remain the major issues.

Supervisor Connie Chan and Saikat Chakrabarti, two of the candidates for Nancy Pelosi’s congressional seat, spoke at a forum sponsored by the S.F. Latino Democratic Club. Sen. Scott Weiner didn’t appear, saying that the club failed to hold its former leader, Kevin Ortiz, accountable when he was “credibly accused of sexual assault.
