A federal judge in San Francisco ruled against the Trump administration’s decision to end Temporary Protected Status for 90,000 immigrants from Honduras, Nepal, and Nicaragua. The judge said the administration relied on “skewed data” and was likely motivated by racial animus.
And another federal judge refused to allow ICE to delay an order to improve conditions and provide medical care to detainees in its San Francisco holding cells. The judge reaffirmed that the order applies to all of 630 Sansome Street, as well as to ICE’s Sacramento holding facility.
