In more squeezing-the-toothpaste-tube news, drug sales and use are increasing around 16th and Potrero, after increased police presence on 16th and Mission. Oscar Palma has the story.

BART’s new fare gates cost $90 million and were supposed to cut fare evasion. But Junyao Yang has data showing little success at the 16th and 24th St. Mission stations.

A woman alleges that the SFMTA failed to stop her superior, a former Hercules police officer fired for assault, from groping and harassing her. This is the second lawsuit to suggest a pervasive culture of bullying and harassment at the parking enforcement division.ย
